Cyclists – R5,000 per person or R25,000 per team

Runners – R3,000 per person or R15,000 per team

Includes:

  • Coffee and muffins at the start of the race
  • Shower hour and snack pack at Blyde Canyon Forever Resort
  • Anatomic running vest
  • Support T-shirt
  • Medic and airlift support
  • Amber and white car lights for support vehicles
  • Goodie bag
  • Awards Breakfast
  • Race award

R1,000 per participant will automatically be donated to St Vincent School – WE THANK YOU! (On request an 18A tax certificate will be issued for a tax refund)

 

RACE RULES

1. General:

All participants must be 18 years or older.

All entries and payments to be done online. Entries close on Friday, 31st August 2018.

Race packs to be collected from ELB, 345 Rivonia Boulevard, Sandton on the 25th & 26th September 2018 between 7am – 4pm.

By registering for the event you confirm that you are medically fit to participate and fully understand that you are entering this event at your own risk and the organiser and their sponsors will not be held responsible for any injury during or as a result of the event or for any loss or damage to property for the duration of the event.

Monies are not refundable for non-participation for any reason, however, entries are transferrable.

2. Safety and Support:

All participants are required to wear reflective and protective gear. ELB will supply amber and white car lights for the runners and amber car lights for the cyclists.

All participants will be responsible for providing their own support/seconds and vehicles.

3. Event Completion Criteria:

The full route distance is 428km.

All cyclists are required to complete the full distance, split over three days, with a 30 minute rest per day where the clock will stop. The time of the last cyclist will be the official time recorded for the team.

The runners are required to complete the full distance in relay format with each runner running a minimum of 80km.
